Founded in 2006 the University Collections Team has been created by the Robert Gordon University Library Service. The collections team manages and cares for the following collections:

The University Art collection

The Textile Development Scheme Collection

The University Architecture Image Collection

The W.A. Brogden Architecture Image Collection 

The University History Collection

The University Design Collection

It is our intention to promote the use of the collections by staff, students and members of the general public for use in research and scholarship; and in displays and exhibitions. In addition, we aim to build upon existing collections in order to further develop important learning resources. The collections team are working towards museum accreditation in order that the collections may become nationally recognised. 

Donations of artefacts to the collection are welcome and  will be cared for to the very highest professional standards.
