We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the former Which? Web Trader Code of Practice if you are making a purchase. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: principally to provide you with the best possible service by logging the configurations and albums you want to store on the main site and secondly to process your queries, instructions and orders. This is collected through My Stuff, Albums, Create and the registration process in the main site. In the Shop, we collect information to process your order. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us.

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We will strive to minimise the information we collect in all cases. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing Neil Fraser. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. Scran only sets a "cookie" to facilitate your use of the site. It is deleted when you leave. The privacy officer is Richard Clegg. Security PolicyScran's site is secured by a hardware Firewall. Your information is stored behind this to ensure confidentiality. The database system is password protected and only staff associated with the processing of your information may access the system. In the shop, customer's purchase details are processed directly by the Royal Bank of Scotland Streamline System using an SSL+ (Secure Socket Layer) Level 3 system and TLS (Transport Layer Security).
